My favorite joke (and the only one I can ever remember when put in the spotlight) is "Mushroom walks into a bar. Bartender says, "Get outta here! We don't serve mushrooms!" to which the mushroom responds, "hey, come on! I'm a fun guy!" (fungi, get it...it's a mushroom joke!)
I do love coffee, but it's less in the trendy 'I only drink lavender lattes from the local coffee shop' way and more in the 'I'm from south Louisiana and I've been drinking coffee milk since I was eating real foods' way.
I was an English teacher in another life if you need any more hints to how fun I am in general! haha!
But seriously, I love to laugh and take photos, and that's always the goal of any photo session!

I want you to be who you are. If you’re an artist, let’s show it. Sporty? Bring that game. Like to get all dolled up? Have a blast! Don’t like to smile? I love a good serious expression. Whatever it is you want to be, fully be that human being and I’ll take some photos. We may squeeze in the gratuitous “look at the camera and smile” photo for grandma, but please remember that I want you to feel free to be who you are.

We are here to do something deliberate. We are celebrating a momentous occasion and your launch into a bigger world. We will take the time it takes to create what you want to create. Hate photos and want to keep it short? We can work quickly to get the shots we need and then you’re out! Have lots of ideas for some really fun shots, let’s go! I want you to feel comfortable and like you feel you have the space you need to be who you are.

ok, well as timeless as I can make it! styles change. technology changes. A photo from the 70s looks like it was taken in the 70s, right?! BUT There are some photos that are classic. iconic. timeless. That’s what we’re going for. Photos that you will love today and your kids will love thirty years from now.

I love to visit new places! Since our honeymoon trip to Ireland, my husband and I have had a passion for traveling hither and yon. There is nothing like getting out and exploring the world to make you love and appreciate the spot that you get to call home, though!

I adore...
Leslie (the westie on the left) is a feisty ole' senior pup, and I think she will live forever! She's almost 15, diabetic, and mostly blind and deaf, but she's still truckin' along!
Tucker (the mini-schnauzer on the right) is a rescue that came into our family in 2017. He's a squirrly lil' fella and a FANTASTIC alarm system, but he loves his people well!
